I don't think people are going to charge you with not caring if you aren't the twenty-four/seven news cycle on your own journal, and it doesn't matter if someone has already said a thing if it is important to you to say it. Which is entirely different from not wanting to get caught up saying it. I'm just saying, your friendlist strikes me as pretty good-faith.
It’s from a local newspaper called the Daily Hampshire Gazette, and I like it for local news. It’s actually the first paper-paper I’ve ever subscribed to. It’s very *thin* these days; I think that for all but the largest news organizations (and maybe for them too) the cost of real news gathering and presentation is hard to recoup. But the stories it does have are in-depth and good
