Everything smells beautiful right now, and the landscape is so many different colors; leaf hasn't subsided to leaf yet, and blossoms are everywhere.

My apple tree has never been so graced with flowers before:

It's been a wonderful year for blossoming trees. Beautiful, beautiful.

It has been--I love this time of year.

That tree is so pretty that it makes me want to plant a seed apple.

And the thing about this tree is, it's disabled, too: it has some illness that makes it have these growths over its trunk and branches, and a percentage of its leaves come out twisted, some of the blossoms too, and some of the fruit fails to thrive. But the fruit that makes it is delicious, and the tree in its whole is magnificent, and it makes me get all teary and happy to see it there, so tall and beautiful, in spite of whatever the illness is.

You might want to check to see if it's fireblight. :(

It's definitely not that. It may be a kind of rust.
