It was among several artworks on display in the Blue House at the College of Our Lady of the Elms (known in brief as Elms College, but the long name is so marvelous), where I was for most of the day yesterday. It tells you exactly what it wants from you.



(Artist appears to be someone called Cavagnac.)

Yeah, and it had just enough idiosyncrasy to not look like, oh, wrapping paper or some other mass-produced graphic design.

I think it helps that I can't tell what the creature in the first painting is, except that it has a lot of personality.

The assertiveness of the first one made me laugh. :) The last one looks like a rebus - I'm sure I'd've puzzled over it fruitlessly for ages, if I'd been at the exhibition.

I know you've heard her sing before but is this the first time you've heard her speak? Or did I give you the video where she was talking about her trip to Cyprus?

This is the first time i've heard her speak at length. I saw the kickstarter/ indiegogo for her Cyprus trip (supported it!), but I think I just read text there; I didn't see her talking.
