There's a strong wind out there, pulling out the teeth of the night by the sound of things, and tugging at roof shingles and pushing at walls. I wonder what daylight will look like.
I cursed the wind yesterday as I wrestled wi a firehose, standing on a platform to wash stubborn mounds of mud and rock from the raised box of my dump truck, because the stream would not focus where I needed it to focus. It paid no mind whatsoever.
I was surprised to wake up to power this morning. The wind did howl! But, apparently, the trees stayed where they belonged, and so did their branches. :)
(You, personally, have such power that next time the electricity does fail, you should try hooking yourself up--though I guess you would need an adaptor...)
Not too much damage to your environs, I hope! Here it is snowing again, tiny tiny specks, like legions of little sisters tagging along after the blizzard.

The distractions of this world of wind!
