asakiyumeOnly these cats are doing kitten things in the heart of the Amazon. The video was sent to me by my friend and tutor--she said I could share it. The Siamese cat is the mother, Mia. The white kitten is her adoptee, named Squiper. The black one is Luna, and the tabby is Anastasia. Apologies for the blurriness; for some reason it got formatted large-style rather than phone-style.

Date: 2024-12-08 08:32 pm (UTC)I recently heard a cool podcast episode about a cat who uses a special symbol keyboard to communicate with her person. Pressing each key plays a sound recording of that person saying a word or short phrase. The cat apparently knows about 120 words. 😃
The episode I heard is Part 1 of 2. (I might listen to Part 2 today. 😏) The name of the podcast is The Allusionist, and all of its episodes are related to language in some way. (If you don't know it already, and are OK with podcasts, in general, I recommend checking it out!)

A friend tells me there's at least one other cat out there who does something similar. I've emailed someone who I hope will have links for that one, too. 🙂🤞
