The other world flows into this one at certain times, filling up hollows and low places, catching on high ones.

At this moment, through this portal, you can find it:

door to other world

And here...

streams of sunlight

...Here, the solar paramecia are swimming in the streams of light:

solar paramecia

Lovely morning things are going on in your part of the world, as usual.

Yeah, I have a surfeit of things to share, and now I have to go to work -_-

You should check out the story--very brief, a two-minute read or a one-minute listen--about the mantis shrimp. (http://www.wamc.org/post/dr-david-kisailus-university-california-riverside-mantis-shrimp#.UFcfkiRVGdg.facebook) Somehow it seems like something that might be applicable for The Child in His Sword.

I will! They are the things that salt water aquarium folks prey they don't get on their liverocks, lest the little buggers EAT THEIR TANK.

Can't you just picture the armor?

The whole thing is very science fictional.

I can definitely see something of the Chariot's using those clubbing claws.

I'd love a chance to swim in that beautiful other world with the paramecia.

I want a calendar of these photos you take! The magical world of Francesca Forest. LOVE!

I especially love that one purple flower in the last pic. All that green and gold--and that little spot of purple. Nice.

Yeah, I second the calendar!

I was saying to [livejournal.com profile] bogwitch64 that I've actually made a calendar with my photos, but sadly (though not unexpectedly), they're rather expensive to put together. Still, maybe I could make a few at some point and make them available....

That purple flower is a purple clover ♥

I actually made a calendar last year, using my photos, but I did it through Apple (since I use iPhoto), and it wasn't cheap. Apple does a nice job though--I'm well satisfied.

I love purple clover. As a wee boy, I used to pick the flowerheads and suck on them: I don't think they tasted of anything.

I was thinking yesterday that what I actually want is a coffee table book of her photographs. Or the ability to buy prints, or a screensaver. :)

Thank you! Alas, my method of making cards and calendars is not a very cost effective one. When I make them (for myself, or to give to people as Christmas gifts), I end up essentially paying high-retail prices myself. If I were to then charge for shipping etc., and then on top of that add something for time and art, I'd have an unsellably expensive item. ... The solution would be to find a cheaper outfit to print up the cards that still had good quality, but--as you know all too well, Bob!--that takes time.

A coffee table book would be FABULOUS!!! One you can keep on your table and turn to each day for inspiration. There will be some wise and wonderful quote to go with each picture.

I think you need to get on this, Francesca!

I second the motion! And you could put in some of your best poems, and snippets from the entries... It would be a great gift for people of ethereal temperament.

That's quite a project! The lazy, short-attention-span changeling in me feels daunted by the amount of work it would involve. Maybe one day, though.

Anyone needing to find a portal (it gets so much harder to find them over the years) should ask to play with someone's baby.

What's interesting is, this mist wasn't around at the *earliest* hours of the morning. It rolled in at about 8 am . . . and then melted away.

The paramecia are just waiting for a little more breeze to arrive, so they may begin their dance in earnest. Sometimes they play in the solar wind; sometimes they use the beats from the terrestrial zephyrs. The bees are quite good at predicting their preferences.
