Jiji came home!!

He came running up to the house when we got home just now after a hike, yowling demandingly. He is pretty skinny, but otherwise seems completely unharmed, and still even has his collar. We are SO HAPPY to have him back. Talk about Thanksgiving!!

Oh YAY!!! I hadn't heard anything further, so I was hoping against hope for you all; I'm so very glad he came home safe and sound!

It was so long! I had taken to hoping he had been taken in by another family (but that was a complicated thing to hope, since I wanted the family to give him back). But I don't think that's what happened, because he's so thin--so that's good though! No other family is unhappy.

There is no better feeling in the world! When my kitty took off for what felt like a very long time, she immediately demanded two bowls of cat food upon her return.

Jiji was definitely starving! We gave him treats and food and more good things--and miraculously he stopped eating when he was full, and (so far!) has not thrown up.

How wonderful! Happy Thanksgiving indeed. I wonder what he was doing for nearly two weeks!

We think maybe he was trapped in a garage or a building site or something, because he came back thin--which means no one was feeding him, and which probably means he was stuck someplace (otherwise he would have come home). Fortunately for Jiji and for us, he must have had access to water.
