I was going to say I don't care much about spoilers, but then I remembered I've asked my husband to shut up during movies and not tell me who the killer is in the first 5 minutes. (He's really good at pattern recognition, I guess, because nothing is suspenseful to him for long.)
But somehow that feels different than me reading a movie review or synopsis beforehand, or knowing what a book's about. I have a lit-crit kind of approach, where I'm watching/reading for subtext or camera angles or half-a-dozen other things. But I guess if I'm going in cold, I really do want to experience it for myself, not through hubby's annoyingly accurate gaze. :P
