Musing on it some more (because "I'm glad it worked for you" is such an unresponsive response), I guess I feel two things. One is that regardless of what the cat perceives, floods and tsunamis work a certain way--they pull up things, they're filled with debris, etc. But this one didn't. So I wonder, is this a whole different kind of reality, then? And if so, how far do the differences go? And then all my other questions, I agree: they might not be things the cat would notice or care about--but I *do* care about them. ... But I understand that I'm in a minority in that.
