Asakiyume mita

It was very cool--it's a long film (two and a bit hours), but completely absorbing. It has a couple of awful moments of the sort you'd expect in a film set in 1909 or 1940, but they're not presented sensationalistically, just: this is what it is. But most of the film is just about these few characters as they travel.
