It took us two hours to get through customs to get IN to Colombia, of all things--coming home, the US apparently didn't give a damn. No one asked us anything! No one asked if we'd been wandering in the jungle or brought back anything! No one wanted to look at our suitcases, even though I had this brick of cocaine cassava in the middle of it.
