I enjoy the process, but it does take time. I was saying to my husband that I'd like to find a way to do it more efficiently--make a bigger mortar for (a) dislodging the outer shells and then (b) for grinding, and maybe try drying them out in the sun instead of in the oven. The risk is that they'd go moldy if I didn't have consecutive days of good sun.
