I should post some follow-ups--that was from some days ago.

I can vaguely hear them clear over here!

[identity profile] asakiyume.livejournal.com 2014-06-15 02:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Their shouts are full of THAT MUCH JOY :-)

[identity profile] sartorias.livejournal.com 2014-06-15 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
This (http://shewhomust.livejournal.com/434848.html) was right above your post in my read today!

Watch that seedling grow!

I saw that! What a wonderful thing to be greeted by when I got home! I sent her a message on LJ because I didn't want to intrude on the entry--or maybe that's only a thing people care about on Goodreads, but in any case, I didn't want to wreck things by appearing if appearing would put folks off.

It made me so happy ♥

Yeah, I feel squirmy with public responses, too.

[identity profile] littlemoremasks.livejournal.com 2014-06-16 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
That write up is damned near perfect!

[identity profile] asakiyume.livejournal.com 2014-06-16 02:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I was absolutely surprised and delighted.

[identity profile] dark-phoenix54.livejournal.com 2014-06-15 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
They really do look like little people! You could make a time lapse of them, then play with it so you have them dancing to music!

[identity profile] asakiyume.livejournal.com 2014-06-15 05:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Now, of course, their real leaves have gotten bigger, so they're not so cute and elf-like, but I'll take a follow-up picture.

I think of Totoro and the children helping their sprouts grow in the middle of the night. :) This must be how happy the sprouts look the next morning.

[identity profile] asakiyume.livejournal.com 2014-06-15 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Wasn't that scene wonderful! And how everyone feels, waiting for their seeds to sprout.

*happy sigh*

That movie. It so colors my memories of young parenthood.

And yeah--happy sprouts ^_^

Looks like a couple of green high fives. *slap* High five buddies, high five.

[identity profile] asakiyume.livejournal.com 2014-06-16 02:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I would love to see you high-five these guys :D

[identity profile] dudeshoes.livejournal.com 2014-06-16 02:31 pm (UTC)(link)
They do look like they're dancing. Adorable little guys.

[identity profile] asakiyume.livejournal.com 2014-06-16 02:33 pm (UTC)(link)
They *are* adorable!

[identity profile] core-opsis.livejournal.com 2014-06-17 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
You're growing beans! I am envious. I've never had a garden that wasn't beset by bean beetles (cousins to the dreaded asparagus beetles).

[identity profile] asakiyume.livejournal.com 2014-06-17 11:31 am (UTC)(link)
Well, the bean beetles have yet to arrive. We'll see what happens. I *have* had them come eat up a crop in the past. I'm hoping that by planting so very few, it won't be too much effort to go to heroic efforts--if that makes any sense. In other words, I can spend time picking off beetles because there aren't that many plants to do that for. (But will I? That's the question.)

[identity profile] core-opsis.livejournal.com 2014-06-17 12:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that made sense. I'd pick beetles off a few plants too.
