When I'm dissatisfied with something (like the reindeer), I am happy about the impermanence. When a rain immediately washes away something I like, like the oranges, I'm more regretful--but not *too* regretful. With chalk art, it's easy to develop the detachment habit. Plus, I take pictures--so am I really detached? Actually, f* detachment. I love me some attachments, I really do. But some things I'm willing to release.
