There's a Tibetan family in my neighborhood, and the grandmother, adolescent daughter, and small son happened to be walking by while I was making it.

"Can I take a picture?" the daughter asked.

"Please!" I said.

She did. The rain we had last night has blurred the design--just clouds of green alternating with blobs of white and yellow. VERY sand-painting-esque. Which maybe that family can appreciate.
